Since the beginning, The Charles Stark Draper Laboratory Inc has been a critical hub for innovation. Doc Draper’s legacy has ensured 90 years of outstanding innovations and service to the nation and 50 years as an independent engineering innovation nonprofit. We’ve been at the forefront of academia and technology, establishing a reputation as the go-to experts in our key business areas of strategic systems, space, national security, and biotechnology.
Education: One of Draper’s core strengths lies in the generations of continuity, experience and skill possessed by its employees. Draper seeks to recruit the best and brightest through its educational internship programs through colleges across the country; the DoD SkillBridge program, that taps into the pool of dedicated and skilled members of the U.S. military; as well as the company’s own organic Draper Scholars Program, which partners Draper employees with undergraduate and graduate students to provide mentorship and supervision, as they complete a thesis. Through these recruiting efforts, Draper simultaneously affords the next generation of innovators the context, resources and support they need to bring about meaningful advancement and change.
