Undergraduate & Graduate Internships
Undergraduate and graduate students can gain hands-on experience in a world-class research and development organization through Draper’s programs for cooperative education (co-op) and internships, available in both engineering and non-engineering fields. Determine which technology areas interest you by exploring Draper capabilities, solutions and business areas, then check the list of available internships (link below).
Draper offers spring and fall co-op slots for students in degree programs that require full-time work for academic credit in their majors. Draper also offers summer (and occasionally winter) full-time and part-time internships.
Engineering students have opportunities to attend technical briefings, interact with national experts in numerous fields of research, work with state-of-the-art equipment on real-world technical applications and then present the results of their research and development activities at the end of the co-op or internship. Students work under the direct supervision of technical staff.
Draper also hires students to support business, logistics, communications and information technology activities in both full-time summer positions and part-time positions during the academic year.

NOTE:
Please apply as soon as possible – there are no rigid dates for submission, but offers are sometimes made early for outstanding candidates. Students can be extended indefinitely as long as they’re enrolled in a degree program. If you have made contact with a specific staff member in your area of interest please feel free to contact him/her directly. A student's participation in one Draper student program can evolve into participation in another program (e.g., the Draper Scholar Program), possibly even into becoming a full-time employee.
